What Is The Difference Between A College Major And A College Minor?

Usually the difference is the number of hours you take. A minor would not require as many hours. (I minored in speech, which gave me a useful skill to supplement my major, which was broadcast journalism.)
You could probably find employment in either specialty, especially since they are so closely related.
