The first girl sounds a little like Sutton Foster! You go girls! I love Michigan!
Amazing loved it! especially the girl who sang first!
i saw cortney in the legally blonde tour and she is really skinny now!! i almost didnt recognize her
Yes. Very well lofted. this whole song has me chilling.
damn…..you guys gave me chills… I want to go to your school!
Um. Anyone else in love with Janine Divita’s (sings “violin”) vibrato? Cause I so am.
GO U OF M!!!! ONE of my relatives goes there!
Great great job girls, nice, healthy belts!
omg. this continuously blows my mind!
Straps are good for dresses for most girls.
By all means, sign us up for this band!
they all are absolutley awesome *_*
Everyone there as an absolutely incredible, crisp vibrato.
the girl in the green top and the last girl in the black dress…have INCREDLIBE range…
they are all terrific
this has to be one of my favorite versions of this song. i hate how when people see a version of something that is exceptional, they feel the need to cut it down. I have no problem letting everyone know this is a great version of this song, and I cant stop listening to it!
the girl in the red dress’s really stands out at some points, but shes good :]
ahh i saw helene when broadway came to my city!
she was greatt
Right, I don’t know why you fired back, cuz I didn’t intend to be rude with my previous message. However, let me just let you know that: (a) English isn’t a subject I teach (b) English is not my first language, it’s my fouth, I first learnt, Italian (native) then taught myself Portuguese, Spanish, French and lastly English. (c) you are not worth my time for me to double check my spelling for you and that said, good bye, you shan’t hear fro me again.
For being a teacher your grammar and spelling are pretty bad. And also, there is no need for 2 periods at the end of sentence, so I guess your punctuation is not good either.
Ok, let’s get on the right foot here, in my opinion the majority of them didn’t commit enough with their energies and physicalities, which I thought was a pity because I can tell it’s not through lak of talent.. I’m a musical theatre teacher so I kindda know what I’m talking about.
Thanks for the tips and I’ll check the urinetown video; I didn’t know about The Batterry’s Down and I quite enjoyed it. I have my technical notes on it, but I’m sure u don’t wanna hear it hehe
really? i mentioned the three exact ones? i don’t really think janine stands out in this video at all…anyways no need to argue. if you want to learn more about these lovely ladies just look through some of urintown’s umich videos
Well I did mention that I thouht that about 3 of them were the exceptions. And you’ve mentioned the exact 3 that grabbed my attention…..so the point of your reply was….??
some of them actually graduated in 2007. the girl with short hair at the beginning was the eponine understudy on broadway (cortney wolfson), the blondie in the beginning is currently glinda in the national tour of wicked (helene yorke), the girl who sings the “violin”part was rizzo on broadway in grease (janine divita)…i think they can act. They are also all on The Battery’s Down…a musical web series right here on YouTube!
Okay, you all have great musical theatre voices which confuses me as to why your acting is so uncommited with expetion of about 3 girls, 2 really did convince me. Come on girlies your MT majors. Again, great voices though.
BRILLIANT
