is gainesville florida a good place to live to have a regular college life?

kitkat December 29, 2009 at 12:03 am: gainesville doesnt have to be party central. if you want to join frats and go to bars all the time, sure. but i lived in gainesville for college and after and it can be nice and low key as well. very warm winters, also hot summers, relatively cheap for florida. beaches not too far away. ive heard good things about charlotte too.
