How hard is selection to RMC I really wanna join
What happends once you graduate, what if you wanted to go to go to war. would you be able to? and if so what cattagory would you have to study towards any? im sorry im kinda lost
go to a military recruiter to start the process
yes
hi… im trying to apply to rmc this fall, but not sure how the application process goes, can you tell me how i can apply?
you have to be a citizen in order to join the RMC?
who is applying to rmc this year?
Yea, alot of people do it. Serve in the reserves through school then go officer reg force after. Its helarious at my unit we have officers who are actually taking university classes along side privates and corporals (civie uni of course) So in the end our officers are actually no smarter then the troops, alot of our troops even hold degrees but choose to remain in the ranks because they find it more satisfying.
Is it even possible to work your way up to an officer from scratch?
goes there*
My boyfriend goes to there currently, he is in his first year. As far as I can remember back when he applied he wasn’t even done grade 12 yet, so you don’t need to be graduated to be accepted. But you are expected if accepted to maintain good grades until you graduate.
how exactly do they look at your diploma, if you havent graduated yet
Get your diploma first…and then apply.
They won’t even consider your application if your in your last years of school.
it would be hard for them to do that if you apply in october, only a month into school. It would have to be your grade 11 marks they looked at
They just look at your diploma, past records, and your last minister exam grades.
Do they look at your grade twelve marks?
Most of them got about 85%+ of general rating(all courses compiled together)
some got 80% and a few were at 75%.
They won’t select you only for your grades, you’ll have to show all you got in the interviews and tests. They usually take people in good shape, matured, professionnal attitude. You can have over 95% and not even getting accepted you know…
did they have over an 80% average in grade eleven?
I have lots of friends who are actual students there, for myself,i am a McGill Medical School Student.
Are you currently a member of RMC?
Yes it’s enough, but it really depends on which program you apply, and make sure you can do the physical requirements without any problems, otherwise you’ll feel struggling there.
You don’t have to be a “genius” to enter RMC,it’s not Harvard…But be good a school, get decent grades if you want to guarantee your entry in RMC.
You can join RMC without knowing french, but, before graduating, you MUST pass the second language courses and be fluent in french and english especially if you wanna be an officer(which is probably the main reason about joining RMC.)
By the time you graduate from RMC you have to be fluent in both french and english. But you dont need to know both in order to attend RMC
do you have to know french and english in order to attend the royal military college?
