How about this go to class and learn something. I guess your not paying for the tuition your parents are. That is the attitude a lot of college student have. America is doomed if all college students have this mentality and the US will be run by India and China.

every college or university is different…there are thousands of colleges around the world, and even in the U.S…it’s crazy to just stereotype them all as being the same…
I disagree. Teachers DO play favorites. It would be in your BEST interest to approach the teacher and introduce yourself and/or go to office hours and connect. Many professors are anti-socials but when you do approach them it goes far.

This is funny, but there are some things people should know.
Most professors just want to show up and get a paycheck. While there are some that are willing to be friends, they are few and far between. Don’t go to college expecting a great relationship with teachers. A lot of times, they will challenge your thinking and may even come off as being rude.
The other information is useful. If you show up to class, turn in homework, and study for tests, you will succeed. It’s not rocket science.

it is not about your grades or how you present yourself. So don’t suck up to your teachers. Just be who you are, and work hard, and make sure you learn as much as possible. Well. grades are important, but you should be the one deciding what grades you should get, NOT your teachers. hope you smart people know what i mean.
Yeah, I go to a rather small college. Half my classes have around 30-60 people.
