“Rule of Four” by Princeton graduate Ian Caldwall & Harvard grad Dustin Thomason is set at Princeton, and is an excellent read.
“The Little Women” by Katharine Weber is set in New Haven, and one of the sisters attends Yale.
Diana Peterfreund has written a series of books, starting with “Under the Rose: An Ivy League Book,” that are set at a fictional university very obviously based on her experience at Yale. They aren’t stellar books – and very teenybopper – but they’re amusing.
The book the movie “Legally Blonde” was based on is set at Stanford Law.
“Hacking Harvard” by Robin Wasserman is about getting into Harvard and life there.

I’m pretty sure many experiences are different than the first. I haven’t seen or heard about a book that describes that, but will do once I find it. Although, I found a book called “Fat Envelope Frenzy” which talks about five students wanting to get into the ivy league schools. Meanwhile, I keep on the look out.

Interesting question. I’m not sure if there are books that describe college life. I think that each individuals experiences are so very unique in certain aspects, yet somewhat general.
