How do you apply to a community college to take courses during the summer if you are a high school student?

I would reccomend talking to your guidance counselor about setting it up, that’s where you’re most likely to find the most accurate information.
That is a very good idea. Just go online or to the college and ask for an application. But an easier way to do it is to ask your college counselor at your high school for an application. Some school districts pay for you class if you are enrolled in high school…but only up to a certain number of credits. The classes are different from high school classes. Just make sure you stay on top of your datelines.
Good Luck!
Not hard at all! Anyone can do it. I did duel enrollment during my senior year and it was the best decision I ever made.
If you want to be a full time student you have to take 12 credits. During the summer courses typically have a low number of students and have a lot of older students in them but also sometimes highschool students. If you want to apply, you’ll have to first enroll at the college (simple) and then register to take classes. You’ll have to find out when the classes open up, and when you are allowed to sign up for them (students with the most credits sign up first, then the ones with the least amount sign up). If you drop by the college, typically you can talk to an adviser about a schedule you’re interested in and pick up a class catalog.
