What do you want to do? Edit? Write? Research?
There are plenty of things that go into making one issue. To help you decide what you like join Yearbook and Newspaper @ your school. You will get to see exactly what goes into one publication!
After you have decided what sub-field you want to go into ask your counselor what classes they recommend!

that way u can build up a portfolio of your talents to show to magazine houses wjhen ypour loooking for work……
you could also try journalism and take it from there or multimedia…..
