Don’t bother thinking about requirements for Pediatrics until you at least know you are a reasonable candidate for Medical School.

Your Major in university should assume you will not make it into Medical School (most students don’t make it). So, you should choose a Major which allows you to slot-in pre-med courses easily and also leads to a good career if you don’t make it to Med School. In my view, the best two Majors for these requirements are:
Bioprocess Engineering
Chemical Engineering

You could also opt for premed courses like Biology if you’d like to be well-rounded in terms of major subjects (physiology, anatomy and biochemistry) taken up in medical school. Majoring in Physical therapy would also be another option since Human Anatomy is their forte. If you like or love Chemistry a lot, then you can major in Biochemistry.

If you would change your mind and like to work after you graduate and pass the board exams, you can opt for Physical Therapy, Medical Technology or Pharmacology. This way, you can still have the option to enter medical school. Psychology is also another option if you like being with people.

And yes, there are a lot of options.
:) Study well!
