You should start narrowing down where you want to apply to now and checking their websites to make sure you are on track to meet the minimum admission requirements and to see when applications will be due.
You can start to look for scholarships now, but FAFSA isn’t due until March and isn’t available until January for the upcoming school year.
The best thing you can do for yourself to prepare is to decide on a major or career path. Otherwise you’ll be wasting your money and time. If your not sure then go to a JC until you do decide. You’d be surprised how many college grads are either out of work or working at McDonald’s because they didn’t think it was important.
