A pell grant is used for COLLEGE USE. It is not real income and does not need to be put on taxes.

Therefore, I believe it would not affect you. It would be rather stupid if it did!
Please ask your college’s Financial Aid Office or Bursar’s Office. Or contact FAFSA.ED.GOV or the SSI Office as soon as possible. This may be quite important for you!
