It depends on the amount of income the two of you have. You should contact the school you want to attend and get their advice on where to look for grants.
There is definitely more money available to you because you will be an independent student, meaning that you do not rely on your parent’s income at all.
My husband and I are both in school right now. We did not apply for any grants but we are eligible for the maximum financial aid available.

It depends on how much your husband makes, they consider his income as well. I am in college and if I marry my fiancee of 6 years then I can’t get grants, that’s why we are waiting until I graduate.

If you get married you are not tied to your parents income. At that point it is all about what you and your spouse have for income, investments, and cash on hand.
Fill out the Fafsa both ways to see how you would come out.
