I’m assuming that you’re at the lifetime limit for the Pell since you’re only eligible to receive financial aid this winter. If that’s the case, no it cannot be split. However, if you receive a refund, you can save the money and use it for the spring quarter. If you haven’t reached your lifetime limit of federal stafford loans, you could still take out a student loan for the spring quarter.
