Probably not unless there is a requirement for going into fire science or something. However if not, it will probably not matter one way or the other. 0 diffference.
Okay as critical as this sounds, your GPA is low for Cornell standards. Cornell is an Ivy League school, which means it is very selective. Also your SAT scores are good but not great. If you are really interested in Cornell retake the SATs one more time in hopes of improving your writing.
To answer your question, colleges prefer to have athletics rather than extracurricular activities like Junior Firefighters.
